$5 of every pendant sold this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday goes directly to Robert’s adoption fund! (We still need to raise about $10,000 - whoa!)
*****Be sure to mention that it is for Robert’s Fundraiser (or the Clark Fundraiser) when you check out!

Now is the perfect time to shop - these make great gifts for birthdays, birthday party favors, teacher gifts, random acts of kindness, Easter, secret pal and soooo much more! She has fun and beautiful designs!!

PLEASE help spread the word - post on your FB page and blogs.

The fundraiser will end at midnight on the 5th so please get your orders in before then.

Thank You First Church of God in Ravenna, Ohio!

Thank you so much for your support and generosity! The church that I grew up in had a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to help us bring Robert home (Thank you Katrina and Mom, and everybody who pitched in to help, donated food, who came to the dinner, and who gave above and beyond). With the help of a few additional donations last weekend, Robert is $2,100 closer to being part of a family - yay!!!! $2,100!!! Isn't that amazing and awesome!? And to know that soooo many people are rooting for Robert to make it home is worth even more than words can describe. Grant and I have not lived in Ohio for so long that there were a lot of new faces, but I could just feel the love for our little guy from everyone that came out that day. And to hear of people, like Amanda W., who has embraced Robert and has been praying for him, is so encouraging and reassuring. Grant and I are so blessed. And I just know that Grandma and Grandpa Burrell were there too, looking down on us and rejoicing right along with us. :)

We Got Our "Golden Ticket"!!!

Yep, we got it!!! Our Golden Ticket (huh, what is that!!??) Approval from U.S. Customs and Immigration to bring our little guy to the U.S. that is! It's funny how a phone call from your husband about a skinny little piece of mail can make you laugh and cry at the same time!
Now I can send all of our docs to "Robert's" country on Monday (2/14), and then we wait for a court date/travel date. Talk about having a happy Valentine's Day!

We Have A USCIS Officer!!

Woo hoo!!! We were assigned an Officer from the Department of Homeland Security on Friday!! (that's US Customs and Immigration - USCIS). She has to review our paperwork and hopefully we will get immigration approval for Robert in a few weeks; meaning we can then send all of our documents to Robert's country (which THEN means the docs could possibly be submitted his country's government by the end of February - maybe, maybe! Which THEN means we could possibly get a court date before the Eastern European courts in late-March/early-April! So please keep your fingers crossed for this "best case scenario"!!

New Photos of Our Little Guy

Another family visited "Robert's" orphanage a few weeks ago and was able to send us these new pics of him. Yaaaay! (yeah, he kind of has that "deer in the headlights" look, but we still think he is pretty darn cute!). We are currently waiting on our approval from U.S. Customs and Immigration Services. Please keep your fingers crossed that it will come quickly. Happy New Year everyone!

How Do I Make a Donation?

Hello! I've had some people ask how they can make a donation.  There are several ways - whatever works best for you!

If you want to make a donation that is tax deductible, use one of these 4 ways:
1. Send a check to Reece's Rainbow, PO Box 4024, Gaithersburg, MD 20885 (make the check out to Reece's Rainbow and specify in the note section of your check: for Robert for the Clarks (#2))

2. Make a check out to Reece's Rainbow and mail it to our house (just email us at GrantandBobbie@gmail.com if you need our address)

3. Here on our blog, click on the "Donate" button on the right side of the page, and this will take you directly to a secure PayPal site where you can either use your PayPal account, or a credit card without signing up for PayPal.  All donations will go directly to Robert's adoption fund.

4. Here on our blog, you can get to Robert's Reece's Rainbow donation page by clicking on the "Sponsor" leaf above in the title of our blog, or click on Robert's "button" to the right (it is the tiny framed photo with the clothespins that hold the sign "Help us bring him home!").  Once you are on Robert's Reece's Rainbow page, there is a "DONATE" button at the bottom of the page, on the left hand side. This will take you to PayPal's secure site where you can either use your PayPal account, or just a credit card if you don't want to sign up for PayPal. These donations will go directly into Robert's adoption fund.

If you don't care if your donation is tax deductible:
1. Make your check out to either of us and send it to our home (email us at GrantandBobbie@gmail.com if you need our address), hand it to us, or give it to our parents - we'll all make sure it gets into our adoption fund. : )

2. If you have extra gift cards, or something else that you think we could raffle off to raise money, we would GREATLY appreciate these items, too!

Hope this helps, and thank you! If you have any other questions, just call, email, or holler!
